# How to Activate Bet.plus Without a Cable TV Subscription

You do not need a cable TV subscription to activate and watch Bet.plus (BET+). BET+ is a standalone streaming service — you subscribe directly, just like Netflix or Hulu, and activate any device at [bet.plus/activate](https://bet.plus/activate). ## BET+ is Cable-Free Streaming

BET+ operates independently of any cable or satellite TV provider. You can:
