You do not need a cable TV subscription to activate and watch Bet.plus (BET+). BET+ is a standalone streaming service — you subscribe directly, just like Netflix or Hulu, and activate any device at bet.plus/activate. This guide shows you how to get started without cable.

BET+ operates independently of any cable or satellite TV provider. You can:
  • Subscribe directly at bet.plus with a monthly or annual plan
  • Stream on any device — smart TV, phone, tablet, laptop, or streaming stick
  • Cancel anytime — no contracts or TV bundle required
  • Start with a free trial — new subscribers get a trial period before being charged
Some older BET+ promotions required a participating TV provider. The current standalone subscription does not — you only need a BET+ account and a compatible device.

How to Sign Up and Activate Without Cable

Go to bet.plus/activate

On your phone, tablet, or computer, visit bet.plus/activate.

Create a New BET+ Account

Click Sign Up if you don’t have an account. Enter your email address and create a password.

Choose a Subscription Plan

Select a plan — BET+ offers monthly and annual options, and new subscribers typically get a free trial. Enter your payment details to complete sign-up.
The annual plan usually saves you money compared to paying month-to-month.

Install BET+ on Your Device

Download the BET+ app from your device’s app store (Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Google Play, Apple App Store, etc.).

Activate Your Device

Open the BET+ app on your TV or streaming device, select Sign In, and note the activation code. Enter it at bet.plus/activate to link your device.
